Investment incentive policy


I. For the projects invested in Vi Thanh town, remission level is as follows:
  1. Enjoying business income rate of 20% which is applied for 10 years
  2. Business income tax is exempted for 2 years and reducing 50% of total tax payment for next 6 years since the time of arising taxable business income
  3. Import tax exemption for imported equipments, machines which make fixed assets of the project.
  4. No charge for renting land for 7 years since the day of starting operation of the project.
II. For the projects meeting conditions of investing in one of the districts and Nga Bay town, remission level is as follows:
  1. Enjoying business income rate of 10% which is applied for 15 years.
  2. Business income tax is exempted for 4 years and reducing 50% of total tax payment for next 9 years since the time of arising taxable business income
  3. Import tax exemption for imported equipments, machines which make fixed assets of the project.
  4. No charge for renting land for 11 years since the day of starting operation of the project.
III. For the projects meeting 2 conditions of belonging to investment incentive areas and investing in one of the districts and Nga Bay town, remission level is as follows:
  1. Enjoying business income rate of 10% which is applied for 15 years.
  2. Business income tax is exempted for 4 years and reducing 50% of total tax payment for next 9 years since the time of arising taxable business income
  3. Import tax exemption for imported equipments, machines which make fixed assets of the project.
  4. No charge for renting land for 15 years since the day of finishing construction and starting operation of the project.
IV. For the projects meeting 2 conditions of belonging to investment incentive areas and investing in Vi Thanh town, remission level is as follows:
  1. Enjoying business income rate of 15% which is applied for 12 years.
  2. Business income tax is exempted for 3 years and reducing 50% of total tax payment for next 7 years since the time of arising taxable business income
  3. Import tax exemption for imported equipments, machines which make fixed assets of the project.
  4. No charge for renting land for 11 years since the day of starting operation of the project.
V. For the projects meeting 2 conditions of belonging to special investment incentive areas and investing in Vi Thanh town, remission level is as follows:
  1. Enjoying business income rate of 10% which is applied for 15 years.
  2. Business income tax is exempted for 4 years and reducing 50% of total tax payment for next 9 years since the time of arising taxable business income
  3. Import tax exemption for imported equipments, machines which make fixed assets of the project.
  4. No charge for renting land for 11 years since the day of starting operation of the project. Besides the businesses are supported the expenses of advertisement, career training etc.
VI. Land renting price at industrial complex:
  1. The land renting price at Phu Huu industrial complex is 0.16 USD/m2/year.
  2. The land renting price at Tan Phu Thanh industrial complex is 0.24 USD/m2/year.
  3. The land renting price at Nga Bay industrial complex is 2,000 đ/m2/year.
  4.  The land renting price at Vi Thanh industrial complex is 1,500 đ/m2/year.
Note: The above land renting price will be adjusted according to every period.

The procedure for issuing investment certificate and business registry certificate is prompt and convenient to investors.
