Preparing flower vehicles for the parade to open the Festival

On November 3rd, the job of preparing flower vehicles for the parade to open the Festival was discussed by the standing Organizing Board of the first Vietnamese National Rice Festival jointly with leaders of the provincial Party’s Department of Propaganda and Training, provincial Departments: Culture, Sports, and Tourism, Industry and Trade, Agriculture and Rural Development, Information and Communication, Finance, Police, the People’s Committee’s Office, Hau Giang Radio and Television, and Cultural Centre.

There will be 20 flower vehicles in the parade including: 4 vehicles representing Ministries of Industry and Trade, Agriculture and Rural Development, Culture, Sports, Tourism, Information and Communication; 4 vehicles representing the major cities of Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Can Tho; 2 vehicles representing the main sponsors of Vietnam Southern Food Corperation, Lien Viet Bank; 5 vehicles representing the provinces of Hau Giang, Thai Binh, Lam Dong, Binh Dinh, Vinh Phuc, and the Mekong Delta’s provinces. The flower vehicles will start from Can Tho City at 14 o’ clock on November 28th to Hau Giang province, parade in the Vi Thanh Town, and end at the Festival’s area. The parade will last 2 hours on the Festival’s day.
