Attracting the participation of international organizations

According to the information from the Organization Committee of the first Viet Nam Rice Festival, the plan of organizing the International Conference of: “Viet Nam Rice – Export and Integration” chaired by Ministry of Industry & Trade and Vietnamese Food Association has been completed basically. With the plan, the Conference will be taken place on November 29th, 2009 in the Hall of Vi Thanh township Committee of the Party.

In the Conference, the discussion of how to enhance the quality of Viet Nam rice in the international market will be focused deeply. Also, the information relating to the domestic and export markets and establishing the trademark of Viet Nam Rice will be also provided in the conference. The Organization Committee of the Conference has received 4 co-reports from international organizations: including International Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), International Rice Organization (IRRI), Viet Nam Rice Import Group in Europe and Viet Nam Rice Import Group in the United States.

In the Conference, there will be the attendance of more than 200 delegates who are the central leaders and the one of provinces and cities nationwide as well as Rice Trading Enterprises and international guests.
