Installing the signboard in the 1,000 years welcome work of Thang Long - Ha Noi

In the evening on the date of 28 November 2009, installing the signboard in the work of Xa No Park – Hau Giang, the 1,000 years welcome work of Thang Long – Ha Noi on the occasion of the first Viet Nam Rice Festival is going to take place in Hau Giang, organized by People’s Committees of Hau Giang province and Ha Noi city. In the ceremony, the was the attendance of Mr. Nguyen Tan Dung, Member of the Politburo, Prime Minister; Mr. Le Kha Phieu, Ex-General Secretary of the Vietnamese Communist Party Central Committee and the officials of central departments, industries and the locality.

The project of Xa No canal embankment with 25 km in length and going through the territory of Chau Thanh A, Vi Thuy districts and Vi Thanh township invested with the total investment costs of 1,200 billion VND. In which, the project going through Vi Thanh township in the first phase has been completed with 4,980 m in length, and the total costs of 114 billion VND.

The ceremony of installing the signboard in this work has been done to show Hau Giang people’s heart towards Ha Noi capital and welcome the 1,000 years anniversary of Thang Long – Ha Noi practically.
