“EXPORT AND INTEGRATION OF VIETNAM RICE ”

One of four large scale workshops of the first 2009 Vietnam National Rice Festival in Hau Giang, the workshop of Export and Integration of Vietnam Rice” is a site for domestic and foreign organizations and individuals related to production and trade in rice, management units, banks…sharing information, experiences in the field of rice production and trade.

About 150 invitees and reporters are expected to join in 5 main topics: Rice paddy production status in Vietnam; Information of domestic and foreign rice market; Analysis of series of rice industries; Trademark of rice and competitiveness in market; giving recommendations of stable developing policies for Vietnam rice; starting to carry out the VII Central Assembly Resolution.

The workshop, is organized by the standard of national science conference, which is very topical, jointly discussed and given feedback and conclusion. The workshop-conversation presided over and run by: Mr. Nguyen Thanh Bien, Deputy- Minister of Department of Industry and Trade; DSc. Vo Hung Dung – Director of VCCI – Branch in Can Tho and Mr. Truong Thanh Phong – Chairman of Vietnam Food Association. Moreover, there are five foreign lecturers whose speeches specialize in Vietnam rice exporting way and profit.

The workshop is going to be taken place on November 29, 2009 at the Meeting Hall of People’s Committee of Hau Giang province. Moreover, there is a combination of exhibition of traditional and current agri-fishery stools in the course of rice paddy production in Vietnam rural area.
