172 photographers, the participants in art photograph competition Of Viet Nam Rice Festival

The art photograph competition is one of official activities started very early within the scope of the first - 2009 Viet Nam National Rice Festival in Hau Giang.

Up to November 10th, the Organization Committee has received 866 photos of 172 photographers from 30 provinces and cities in the whole country. The subjects of these photos are all focused on: honouring the wet rice civilization, promoting the potential and strength of Viet Nam rice associated with 1,000 years anniversary of Thang Long - Ha Noi; Establishing and popularizing Viet Nam rice trademark in the international market; promoting production, applying scientific and technological achievements, expanding rice export and trade; Creating the new motivation for the process of building and developing Hau Giang province.

The photos have been marked by the Organization Committee, and publishing the results as well as awarding the prizes of the competition will be done on November 27th. The structure of prizes includes: 1 the first prize with the value of VND 10,000,000; 2 the second prizes with the value of 7,000,000 VND/prize; 4 the third prizes with the value of 4,000,000 VND/prize and 10 incentive prizes with the value of 1,500,000 VND/prize. Besides, the authors who win the said prizes will be given the Certificates and the Statued Medals by the Organization Committee.
