For a long time, Can Tho, has been considered the western metropolitan city – the most business center of the Mekong Delta, which stretches 65km along legendary Mekong river. Firstly, tourists come to Ninh Kieu park where is planted lots of valuable bonsai, beautiful flowers stretching from the rivulet mouth of Cai Khe channel to the ancient market house just restored. Ninh Kieu quay is a interferential place between Hau river and Can Tho river.
This is a song and the pride of Can Tho’s people whenever reminding Ninh Kieu quay. Ninh Kieu quay is a place, which is usually visited, locates on the right bank of Hau river, right on the confluence of Hau river and Can Tho river, near Can Tho city center.

Cai Rang – Phong Dien Floating markets
After bobbing in the winding river with busy ships, the trip shall be going on Cai Rang – Phong Dien floating market.
- Cai Rang floating market: 5 km from Can Tho city center towards national highway No. 1 to Soc Trang.
- Phong Dien floating market: 17 km from Can Tho city center (in the same direction to Cai Rang floating market).
The market in river, a typical cultural feature of the sourthern people. From very early in the morning, hundreds of boats group together into a market in a section of the river. Samples of hick products are displayed on the top of the rod called “ scarecrow ” at the bow of the boat. Just looking at the scarecrow, the buyer know what are sold in that boat. Besides visiting and buying fresh products, tourists have a chance to confide in the ones who are called “ water merchants” – all year round, they consider rivers their friends.
Next, tourists go through channels of the green isle in Can Tho city to visit the islets: Khuong, Au…especially, Phu Sa tourist site locates in Au islet. From Ninh Kieu quay, tourists are taken by motor boat in a wavy large river section to Au islet where Phu Sa tourist site locates. Bang Lang Stork Garden
There are about tens of thousands of more than 10 species of storks and more than 20 species of stork’s friends living in the area of 2 hectares in Thoi Thuan commune, Thot Not district. From 5h-7h every morning most of storks leave the garden for seeking feeds until 16h-18h they return, crowd on the top of the trees and leaf canopies, the scenery becomes very exciting. Tourists are also attracted to Bang Lang stork garden by the common price of food and drinks and hearty and friendly service. Especially, tourists can come to visit the garden at any time in a day because there are other storks nesting and incubating,… ticket price is VND 4,000/person.

Binh Thuy ancient house
Locating on Bui Huu Nghia street, it was built of French architecture in 1870.
