Banking Technology
From the very first days of foundation, and with the aim of becoming a leading bank in Vietnam in terms of modernisation, we established strategic plan for technology investment, regarding it as the right key to win competition. We have just successfully implemented the second phase of CoreBanking Project with our strategic partner – i-Flex Solutions (now known as Oracle Financial Services Limited). We have also implemented other banking technology projects such as SMS Banking, Internet Banking, Card Project, Mobivi Securities Settlement (MSS). We have also applied modern technology in service of management when investing in GPS Car Tracking System in managing our car fleet, and Video Conferencing for internal meetings and trainings.
Community Involvement
We believe we have a responsibility to support the community and that community involvement and sustainable business practices go hand in hand. At LienVietBank, we play an active role in helping the people in need (especially elder people and children) and assisting in education. We have so far donated 62 billion Dongs for the needy and built school for children in Hau Giang province; presented Vietnamese Heroic Mothers with passbooks; and granted scholarships to high achieving students nation-wide. We also established the “Lan toa phon vinh” trust (Spreading Prosperity) to raise funds for charity.
Our Milestones
March 28th 2008 : Obtained the Banking License No. 91/GP-NHNN from State Bank of Vietnam – the first Banking License after fifteen years May 1st 2008 : Commenced trading at Hau Giang Transaction Center June 4th 2008 : Opening Hanoi Branch June 12th 2008 : Opening Ho Chi Minh City Branch September 5th 2008 : Opening Tan Binh Branch September 9th 2008 : Opening Dong Do and Thang Long Branches September 23rd 2008 : Opening Hoa Ma Transaction Office – Thang Long Branch September 30th 2008 : Opening Lang Ha Transaction Office – Hanoi Branch October 23rd 2008 : Opening Giang Vo Transaction Office – Dong Do Branch and Tran Dang Ninh Transaction Office – Hanoi Branch October 27th 2008 : Opening Nguyen Chi Thanh Transaction Office – Dong Do Branch |
